Every place has sunrise and sunset.
If local directions are “to/from the sea” and “mountains” (e.g., de la mer, de la montagne, or makai, mauka), and you come from L.A. where the ocean is on the left, since most Americans face North when we think of directions, be careful.
You can drive around an island looking for a turn-off.
